2. When can I expect my walk-in to ship?

3. How do I submit a warranty claim? Checklist of information required to submit an invoice to Nor-Lake for warranty service reimbursement - Name and address of customer serviced - Nor-Lake model and serial number: our serial #’s are 8 digits, all numbers, starting with the year and month of manufacture. Walk-in box numbers located above door and to the right, Refrigeration units have large 4” x 6” tag on base plate. Reach-in units have tag on inside left-hand wall - Complete and accurate description of problem at site - Complete and accurate description of service rendered to correct the problem - List charges separately for travel, labor, and parts - For parts purchased locally for repairs: you must provide the invoice from the supply house showing the price you paid - If a work authorization number was given by Nor-Lake, please reference that number on your bill
Items required for reimbursement of 5-year compressor warranty - Nor-Lake will pay wholesale cost of compressor only. Labor and expendables are responsibly of customer
Submit: - Your labor invoice for our inspection - Wholesaler’s invoice on new compressor - Tag or numbers copied from defective compressor (do not Remove tag from semi-hermetic compressors as tag must be in place for wholesaler core exchange) - Nor-Lake serial number from condensing unit

4. What should I do when I receive my order?
Check the delivery receipt for the number of pieces that make up the shipment and make sure that the number of pallets, boxes or crates agrees with that number. Each piece should be clearly marked with the same five-digit order number that appears on the delivery receipt as the shipper’s number. Each individual walk-in is color coded.
Examine the general condition of the shipment and, as soon as unpacking is completed, carefully inspect all parts for possible shipping damage. If damaged parts are discovered, contact Nor-Lake immediately.

5. What should I do if I have freight damage?
If you have noticeable damage at the time of delivery, ask the driver to make a note on the paperwork of the exposed damage or refuse to sign and take delivery of the product.

You can download a PDF version of product instruction manuals from the parts and service section of the website, or you can send an email or fax to request the desired instruction manual. Please be sure to include the part number or the model number of the product that you are requesting a manual for.
